Kvarnby IK achieved a convincing victory against Husie IF at Husiegårds IP on Friday evening. Despite Husie taking an early lead in the match through Felix Maurer's goal in the sixth minute, Kvarnby managed to come back and turn the game around.
Ludvig Nilsson equalized for Kvarnby just three minutes later, and Anton Lindell then scored two quick goals for the visitors in the fifteenth and nineteenth minutes. Kvarnby led 3-1 already in the first half.
In the second half, Kvarnby continued to dominate and extended their lead when Anton Lindell scored his second goal of the match in the 51st minute. Husie managed to reduce the deficit with a goal from Viktor Maurer in the 73rd minute, but it was not enough to threaten Kvarnby’s lead.
The match was intense with several warnings issued by referee Yad Bahaddin, with both Husie IF's Hassan Barbari and Kvarnby IK's Ludvig Nilsson and Rasmus Nilsson receiving yellow cards during the match.
Despite a dedicated performance in front of a home crowd of 60 people, Husie IF could not cope with a strong Kvarnby IK, who ensured they took home three points. The final score was 2-4 in favor of Kvarnby IK, who proved to be the stronger team on this evening.
