It was an intense match at Åvallen Marieholm A-plan when Marieholms IS hosted Tågarps AIK in an exciting Division 5 Skåne West match.

The match started evenly, but it was Marieholms IS who took the lead in the 27th minute through Joel Andersson. Just two minutes later, Kim Jeppsson doubled the lead to 2-0 for the home team. Tågarps AIK had a player cautioned in the 32nd minute, and then Kim Jeppsson also received a yellow card.

Tågarps AIK managed to reduce the deficit with a goal from Markus Lindström just before halftime, leaving the score at 2-1 as the teams headed into the break.

In the second half, things became even more dramatic when Oscar Herbing was sent off for the visiting team, and Marieholms IS took advantage of their numerical superiority by scoring to make it 3-2 through Kim Jeppsson in the 64th minute. Max Rejnefelt then extended the lead to 4-2 for Marieholms IS in the 72nd minute, which turned out to be the final score.

Despite a strong effort from Tågarps AIK, Marieholms IS managed to maintain their lead and secure three important points in the battle for top positions in the table in front of the 89 spectators present. Referee Lukasz Pacynski kept good control of the match with assistance from Denis Memedov and Jacoub El-Ghazzi as assistant referees.
