Stehags AIF hosted Tågarps AIK at home on the Gyavallen A-field in a battle for the top positions in Division 5 Skåne Västra, men. It was a sunny Sunday afternoon, and unfortunately, no spectators were allowed on-site due to current restrictions.
Referee Viktor Wiaczek blew the whistle to start the match at 1:00 PM, and it didn’t take long for the home team to take the lead. Already in the ninth minute, Marcus Brunström opened the scoring for Stehags AIF, and from there, they began to play with confidence and controlled most of the match.
Tågarps AIK fought hard and created some chances throughout the game, but Stehags AIF held firm to their lead. They continued to apply pressure, and in the 48th minute, they were awarded a penalty, which Karl Nilsson converted to make it 2-0. Five minutes later, Anton Nilsson Gullberg extended the lead to 3-0, and it seemed as though the match was decided.
However, in the 57th minute, Tågarps AIK got a goal back through Tobias Ahlberg, giving them new hope. Dragan Andric then added to the excitement by scoring 3-2 in the 68th minute.
But just as Tågarps AIK was slowly working their way back into the game, the home team struck back. In the 75th minute, Ludvig Nilsson made it 4-2, and then in the final minutes, he added another to make it 5-2, which was his second goal of the night.
The match ended 5-2 in favor of Stehags AIF, meaning they continue to lead the table, while Tågarps AIK remains in sixth place. Referee Viktor Wiaczek kept the match under control, assisted by the two linesmen Hossein Karbassi and Oliver Stephensen.
