It was a sunny Sunday afternoon in June when Ekeby GIF hosted Trollenäs IF at their home ground at Bruksvallen, Ekeby A-plan. Despite a crowd of only 53 people, the match still provided some excitement. Referee Tobias Johansson was assisted by his linesmen Axel Vernersson and Rayane Ziane to officiate the game.

After the break, Ekeby GIF wanted to show that they weren't giving up easily. Just four minutes into the second half, Sepehr Roshanmeidan saw his chance and reduced the score to 1-2. However, Trollenäs IF continued to play strongly and just three minutes later, Marcus Åberg extended the lead to 1-3. After that goal, it became difficult for Ekeby GIF to find their way back into the match, and Trollenäs IF easily managed to score two more goals: first, Hampus Åberg found the net in the 59th minute, and then Mohammed Jihad Atta scored the final goal of the match in the 61st minute. The final score was 1-5 in favor of Trollenäs IF.
After the match, Ekeby GIF struggled to accept the loss and ended up in 9th place in the table, while Trollenäs IF advanced to 7th place.
