It was a sunny afternoon at Örnehed when IF Stjärnan faced Tjust IF FF. The 50 spectators who had made their way there expected an exciting match between these two teams in Division 5 Småland Northeastern.
The match started promisingly for Tjust IF FF, as they took the lead just eight minutes in with an own goal from an IF Stjärnan player. However, IF Stjärnan was not going to give up so easily, and ten minutes later, Kreshnik Avdyli equalized to 1-1 after a nice attack.
The second half began with an early goal from Tjust IF FF, scored by Albin Juthe, who put them back in the lead at 2-1. IF Stjärnan's frustration began to show when Jimmie Karlsson received a yellow card, and their coach Fredrik Svensson also got a warning.
Tjust IF FF continued to press, and in the 73rd minute, Vilgot Birgersson made it 3-1 for the away team. IF Stjärnan grew more frustrated, and their Adnan Smajic received a yellow card at the end of the match.
In the 82nd minute, Nils Hammarström scored 4-1 for Tjust IF FF, securing the victory and the three points. A heavy defeat for IF Stjärnan, but Tjust IF FF definitely deserved their win after a strong performance at Örnehed.
Referee Alen Muhic and his assistants Thomas Melzén and Elin Pettersson had a good day at work, and the match was very well conducted.
