The match between IFK Västervik and Timmernabbens IF at Bökensved in Västervik was a real thriller with a goal fest and drama right up to the final whistle.
It was the home team IFK Västervik that started the match the strongest, taking the lead just three minutes in through Ali Sherif Ali. However, Timmernabbens IF responded quickly, with August Norell equalizing just one minute later.
IFK Västervik continued to apply pressure, and Christoffer Gustavsson made it 2-1 just before halftime. In the second half, Albin Kito extended the lead to 3-1, but Timmernabbens IF did not give up. Viktor Brajdic and Martin Karlsson each received a yellow card before August Norell reduced the deficit to 3-2 from the penalty spot.
Christoffer Gustavsson scored his second of the day and seemed to have secured victory for IFK Västervik, but Timmernabbens IF fought back. Hampus Nilsson also reduced the score to 4-3 via the penalty spot, before Johannes Samuelsson equalized in the final moments of the match.
Despite the hard-fought efforts from both teams, the match ended 4-4, and the audience at Bökensved definitely got their money's worth. It was an entertaining and high-scoring match that had the 78 spectators cheering and applauding both teams for their fantastic performances. Referee Petar Doneski had his hands full keeping track of all the events on the pitch and did a great job alongside his assistant referees Mikael Andersson and Torbjörn Iserstål.
