Herman Grönwall netted 5-3 in the 93rd minute, followed by Amel Komina who made it 6-3 just before the final whistle.
It was a well-deserved victory for IFK Västervik, who played strongly in the second half, while IF Stjärnan will need to continue fighting in the upcoming matches. Referee Pierre Fransson and assistant referees Daniel Ringdahl and Mikael Andersson kept control of the game and performed well.
