It was a rainy Saturday afternoon when IFK Tuna hosted Ruda IF at Tunhamra in Division 5 Småland Nordöstra. The crowd of 200 cheered for the home team, but it would turn out to be a tough match.
Referee Glenn Bastholm started the match, and both teams tried to establish play right away. However, it was Ruda IF that took the lead in the 17th minute through Robin Almqvist. In the second half, Ruda IF continued to dominate the match. Robin Almqvist scored his fourth goal in the 66th minute. Christoffer Karlsson extended the lead even further just three minutes later, making it 1-7 for Ruda IF. IFK Tuna managed to reduce the score to 2-7 through Anton Carlsson in the 80th minute, but that would be all they could muster.
The match concluded with a yellow card for Jesper Ekberg from Ruda IF, and referee Glenn Bastholm blew the final whistle. Ruda IF won the match 2-7 after a strong performance and impressive play both offensively and defensively.
