Norrahammars GIS managed to defeat Mariebo IK 3-1 in an exciting match at Junebäckens IP 1 in Jönköping. Although the match was played in front of an empty stadium, both teams displayed impressive play on the field.
Norrahammar took the lead just ten minutes in, thanks to a goal from Dominik Michalski. Mariebo tried to equalize, but the Norrahammar defense held strong, and Noel Lindblom received a warning for tough tackles.
Towards the end of the first half, Liam Eklind also received a warning for Mariebo IK, as they fought to get back into the match. In the second half, however, it was Norrahammar that extended their lead, but thanks to a brilliant goal from David Elmgren, Mariebo managed to secure an important equalizer.
Unfortunately for Mariebo, it was not enough, and Norrahammar struck back with two quick goals in just five minutes from Tobias Lundkvist and Vincent Mawana. Daniel Carlsson also received a warning during the match, but it did not disrupt Norrahammar's performance.
After full time, it was clear that Norrahammars GIS were the stronger team and deservedly won 3-1 against Mariebo IK. The referee, Mirsad Sutkovic, and assistant referees, Georgios Kogerakis and Adam Viklander, officiated the match well.
