It was a sunny Sunday afternoon when Habo IF faced FC Peking at Slättens IP in front of an audience of 60 people. Referee John Toma blew the whistle to start the match, and it was Habo IF that took the lead after 14 minutes when Marcus Larsson scored.

However, it didn’t take long for FC Peking to respond. Oscar Stålbrand equalized after 17 minutes, and Adel Mekic scored two quick goals for the visitors, giving them a 3-1 lead already after 24 minutes.

The second half started similarly with Mekic in focus as he completed his hat-trick, resulting in a comfortable 6-1 lead for FC Peking. Zeljko Stajcic also got his name on the scoresheet, extending the lead to 8-1.

Habo IF managed to score a consolation goal when Noah Appelberg found the net, reducing the score to 2-8, but FC Peking continued to dominate and finished the match strongly. Zeljko Stajcic scored his second goal of the day, setting the final score at 2-9 in favor of FC Peking.

An impressive victory for FC Peking with Adel Mekic being the standout performer with his seven goals. For Habo IF, it’s back to the drawing board to come back stronger in the next match.
