It was a sunny Saturday afternoon at Torpavallen when the second-to-last round of Division 5 Småland Norra was played. Torpa AIS faced the bottom team Myresjö IF, and it turned out to be a very one-sided match. Just nine minutes into the game, the home team took the lead when Gabriel Johansson hit the ball on the volley and placed it into the far corner. Myresjö IF fought hard but struggled to get past Torpa's defense.
In the 23rd minute, Torpa AIS extended their lead when Basel Hamed found the net after a nice pass from Anton Schildt. Just a few minutes later, Anton himself added to the lead, and after half an hour of play, Torpa AIS had full control of the game. Basel Hamed scored his second goal of the match in the 31st minute, and just two minutes later, Lukas Schildt converted a penalty kick into Myresjö's goal.
In the 35th minute, Kadir Yilmaz made it 6-0, and Oliver Lindström found the net on his own in the 43rd minute. Despite having a comfortable seven-goal lead at halftime, Torpa AIS didn't slow down. Gabriel Johansson scored his second goal of the match in the 65th minute, and just five minutes later, Isaac Johansson further increased the lead.
Torpa AIS continued to dominate, and in the 76th minute, Rasmus Larsson added to the lead even more. Oliver Lindström then finished off the scoring with his second goal of the match in the 86th minute. The match ended 11-0 in favor of Torpa AIS, which was a well-deserved victory following an impressive performance from the entire team.
After the match, Torpa AIS was pleased with their performance, but unfortunately, the victory wasn't enough to climb higher in the table. The season was thus over, and Torpa AIS finished in 9th place. For Myresjö IF, it was a tough ending to the season as they finished at the bottom of the table.
