It was an exciting match between Tolgs IF and Skruvs IF when the teams met at Arabyvallen 1 in Växjö. Despite the match being played on a Saturday afternoon, no spectators made their way to the stadium to follow the game.
Tolgs IF took the lead after 26 minutes of play through Albert Rylander, who broke through Skruv's defense and placed the ball in the goal. Tolgs then received a warning when Alexander Gårdemark picked up a yellow card after a rough tackle.
However, Tolgs' happiness would not last long. Marcus Zakrisson was sent off for a violent tackle just a minute later, giving Skruv a chance to regain momentum in the match.
And they would do just that, as Khader Bashir Issa scored a penalty after a Skruv forward was brought down in the Tolgs penalty area. This gave Skruv an equalizer and the game became more intense.
Skruv's Mohammad Hassan Haidari also received a warning, which gave Tolgs a chance to regain control of the match. After an hour of play, Alexander Gårdemark avenged his previous yellow card by scoring a goal for Tolgs following a perfectly executed attack.
With fifteen minutes left in the match, Gårdemark found the net again and scored his second goal of the day, giving Tolgs a comfortable lead of 3-1. Despite several chances for Skruv to get back into the match, the score held firm, and Tolgs IF could celebrate a well-deserved victory.
