At Norrvalla IP in Lammhult, IFK Lammhult faced Växjö Norra Youth Association in a Division 5 match. The officiating team, consisting of Edin Huskic, Bo Petersson, and Faisal Nadir, ensured that the match flowed smoothly and without major incidents.
IFK Lammhult started the match strongly, and after 31 minutes, they took the lead through Ludwig Petersson. However, Växjö Norra Youth Association did not give up, and just two minutes later, Simon Persson equalized to make it 1-1. The match became physical, and hard challenges led to Samuel Kronmar receiving a warning for the visiting team. Just before halftime, IFK Lammhult was awarded a penalty, and Adam Kanstedt made no mistakes as he put it away for 2-1. Right before the referee blew the whistle for halftime, Kanstedt increased the lead to 3-1 with another goal.
In the second half, Växjö Norra Youth Association made several substitutions in the hope of turning the match around. This proved to be a good idea as, in the 70th minute, Sebastian Christiansen pulled one back to make it 3-2. With only two minutes left in the match, referee Huskic called Alexander Mazzeo’s name once again, showing him another yellow card.
The match ultimately ended 3-2 in favor of IFK Lammhult, who climbed to eighth place in the standings with this victory. Växjö Norra Youth Association fought hard but instead extended their losing streak and remained second to last in the table.
