On a sunny Friday evening, Rockneby IK and Glömminge-Algutsrums IF took to Dampevallen for a match in Division 5 Småland South-East. In front of an audience of 57, it looked set to be a close battle, but it was Glömminge-Algutsrums IF that would dominate from start to finish.

Just three minutes in, Joel Mattsson scored the first goal for the visitors, before Johannes Lagesson netted two quick goals before halftime. The second goal was a beautiful free kick that the young player placed neatly in the goalkeeper's right corner.

Rockneby IK tried to fight their way back into the match, but it was not until the 43rd minute that Saif Sultan managed to score a consolation goal. Unfortunately, that wouldn't be enough for the home team, as Glömminge-Algutsrums IF immediately scored a fourth goal at the start of the second half, this time by Anton Fransson.

The match continued with several yellow cards for both sides, and although Rockneby IK pressed on, they never got any closer than that. Instead, Glömminge-Algutsrums IF kept pushing forward, and after goals by Jesper Ebenman and Petter Ernberg, the final score was 1-6 in favor of the visitors.

Referee Ted Durdel and his assistants Stefan Gustafsson and Hadi Mustafai had a calm match to manage, while Glömminge-Algutsrums IF could head home with three much-needed points in their bag.
