On the afternoon of Saturday, October 7th, Persnäs AIF faced Rockneby IK at Solvallen in front of an audience of 75 spectators. The match was of great importance for both teams as it was the last game of the season and both were playing to avoid relegation. Persnäs AIF was the stronger team and took the lead after just 28 minutes with a goal from Qyam Safi.

Tommy Haug Johansson extended the lead for Persnäs AIF just before halftime, making it difficult for Rockneby IK to get back into the match. Milton Schill from Rockneby IK received two yellow cards and was sent off at the end of the first half.

In the second half, Persnäs AIF continued to dominate the game, and Safi scored his second and third goals, achieving a hat-trick and sending the home crowd into ecstasy. Rasmus Arvidsson reduced the score for Rockneby with a penalty, which became his team's only goal in the match.

Rockneby IK received another red card when Ekkaphop Tinnaram received three yellow cards and was forced to leave the field. Persnäs AIF won the match 4-1, thereby avoiding relegation while Rockneby IK finished in second to last place in the league table. The referee, Mohamad Hamza Alsamra, officiated the match with assistance from Jasmin Alagic and Jörgen Stångberg.
