It was a sunny Saturday afternoon at Sträntevallen in Kärda, where Kärda IF was set to face Reftele GoIF in Division 5 Småland South-West. The attendance was not the highest, with only 78 people present, but the atmosphere was at its peak when referee Muzafer Turkovic kicked off the match.

Just before the halftime break, Isak Hjalmarsson scored his second goal of the day, and Reftele GoIF went into halftime with a four-goal lead.
The second half began with an own goal from Kärda IF's Andreas Finnander, but Kärda IF did not give up and fought their way back into the match. After 57 minutes, Andreas Finnander struck again, reducing the score to 1-5. With just over 20 minutes left in the match, Oskar Törefors also scored for Kärda IF, but it wasn’t enough to turn the game around.
Reftele GoIF maintained control of the match and held on for a 5-2 victory. The game had been quite physical, and after a late yellow card to Reftele GoIF's coach Robert Virtanen, the match ended. Kärda IF finished in sixth place in the table, while Reftele GoIF ended up in second place.
