Ericsbergs GoIF faced the league leaders IFK Mariefred at home tonight at Värmbols IP. Despite the away team already leading the table, the home crowd felt their team could secure three points in tonight's match.
The match started aggressively, and it didn't take long before Erik Lundevaller of Ericsbergs GoIF received a warning. IFK Mariefred desperately tried to come back and managed to create a few dangerous situations. Philip Løhren was warned in the 87th minute for delaying the game.
The match ended 4-1 in favor of the home team Ericsbergs GoIF after a strong performance by the team. Despite IFK Mariefred leading the table, it was Ericsbergs' night, and they secured an important victory in the chase for a better league position. Referee Fanar Soror Francis and assistant referees Ali Mohamadi and Hanad Husen Abdule did a good job keeping the match in check. The attendance of 52 people contributed to a wonderful atmosphere at Värmbols IP.
