Runtuna IK dominated the match against IFK Mariefred at Runavallen this evening with an impressive 6-1 result. The match began strongly for Runtuna IK with an early goal from Victor Dahlqvist in the first minute. Jonathan Persson and Jesper Larsson continued to extend Runtuna IK's lead with two quick goals within the first 20 minutes. Anders Jernér and Linus Stenberg further increased the advantage for Runtuna IK with two more goals before halftime.
Anders Jernér also received a yellow card in the 74th minute, just before Axel Hörnell managed to comfort IFK Mariefred with a goal, reducing the score to 5-1. However, Runtuna IK quickly responded with a goal from Tobias Johansson in the 86th minute, thus securing the victory.
Referee Atiq Eid Mohammad had a good grip on the match and kept the play under control. The audience, however, was absent due to restrictions on the number of spectators because of Covid-19.
After this impressive victory, Runtuna IK will continue its winning momentum while IFK Mariefred will need to analyze and improve their game ahead of upcoming matches.
