IFK Mariefred and Stigtomta IF presented an entertaining and high-scoring match at Hammarens IP KG. Despite a modest crowd of 20 people, no one believed they would be disappointed by the evening's spectacle, and they were right.

Already after eleven minutes of play, the home team took the lead through Valdemar Trobeck. However, Stigtomta IF responded quickly and equalized through Martin Eriksson from a corner. They then took the lead through Daniel Frick, but IFK Mariefred managed to equalize before halftime after Trobeck found the net again.

After the break, it was IFK Mariefred that really stepped on the gas. Kevin Stüben scored two quick goals, and an own goal from Stigtomta IF made the score 5-2 with twenty minutes left to play.

But it wasn't over yet. Stigtomta IF fought their way back into the match and scored a penalty through Eric Svärdh before Hugo Arringe scored from a free kick in stoppage time to equalize at 5-5.

It was a dramatic finish to an entertaining match. Despite some hard tackles and two warnings for each team, the referees Simon Otku, Simon Varli, and Yousuf Rassam managed to maintain a decent level in the match. Both teams provided an entertaining game where the goalkeepers largely accounted for the results.
