On Friday evening, Skogstorps GoIF faced Afrikansk FC at Orrlidens IP in an exciting Division 5 match. Unfortunately, the attendance was zero, but that did not stop the teams from giving their all on the field.
It only took four minutes for Afrikansk FC to score the first goal of the match. Jesse Chibuzo Okoli found the back of the net, putting Skogstorps GoIF under pressure. However, the Swedish team quickly increased their tempo at the start of the second half, with Mattheus Ay equalizing for Skogstorps GoIF in the 48th minute.
The intensity of the match rose, and players began to receive yellow cards. Adeoluwa David Adenusi was the first to receive a yellow card for Afrikansk FC, quickly followed by Ola Lindström for Skogstorps GoIF. Dylan Madhad Khafor also received a yellow card for Skogstorps GoIF in the 57th minute, and the other team had to substitute players due to accumulating cautions.
Afrikansk FC tried to score the decisive goal but had to fight hard for it. Allie Marah, Owin Omoduemuke, and Kabba Samura all received yellow cards for the team but continued to defend strongly. Unfortunately for them, Skogstorps GoIF was awarded a penalty just after the 76-minute mark, which Dylan Madhad Khafor took advantage of and scored, eventually becoming the match-winning goal.
The match concluded with Momoh Bangura from Afrikansk FC receiving a yellow card for the team. Skogstorps GoIF won the match 2-1 and were surely pleased with their performance.
