An exciting match between Runtuna IK and Ericsbergs GoIF took place at Runavallen in front of an audience of 63 people. The match started at 19:00 on Thursday evening and was officiated by referee Behudin Mustafic, assisted by Yousuf Rassam and Julius Chamuon.
Ericsbergs GoIF took the lead in the sixth minute through Carl Nordström, but Runtuna IK quickly equalized through Axel Vejdal in the sixteenth minute. In the second half, it was Ericsbergs GoIF who took control of the match. Jesper Pallhed Larsson scored to put them back in the lead in the 45th minute. Simon Johansson then extended the lead to 4-2 in the 48th minute after a penalty kick.
Runtuna IK fought on and reduced the deficit in the 68th minute through Tobias Johansson. However, despite several dangerous attacks towards the end of the match, they were unable to catch up with Ericsbergs GoIF.
The match ended 3-4 in favor of Ericsbergs GoIF, who took home three points. Simon Johansson was the hero for Ericsbergs GoIF with one goal and a well-delivered penalty. Melvin Sander was booked for Ericsbergs GoIF and Jesper Alfredsson for Runtuna IK during the match.
