On Thursday evening, IFK Vaxholm and IK Makkabi met at Vaxö IP 1 in a match in Division 5 Stockholm A for women. With only 25 people in the stands, it was up to the players to provide entertainment – but unfortunately, it was the guests who delivered the highlights.

The first half was intense and evenly matched, but it was IK Makkabi who scored the first goal in the 34th minute. Tove Bjernudd stepped up and put the ball into the net from a corner, giving the visitors a 0-1 lead. IFK Vaxholm tried to equalize, but Makkabi's defense held strong.

The second half began with IK Makkabi increasing the tempo and managing to score their second goal of the match in the 56th minute. Leah Gorosch took the ball and shot it past IFK Vaxholm’s goalkeeper, extending their lead to 0-2. IFK Vaxholm continued to fight to get back into the game, but IK Makkabi was too strong and scored yet another goal, this time in the 62nd minute. Miriam Lindmark was the one who shot the ball into the net, increasing IK Makkabi's lead to 0-3.

IFK Vaxholm worked hard until the final minutes, but could not score any goals. The match ended 0-3 in favor of the guests, IK Makkabi, who thus took three much-needed points. The referee for the evening's match was Ebba Fagerlind Cederblad, who maintained good discipline on the field throughout the match.
