On Sunday evening, Vendelsö IK faced Årsta FF in a tough match in Division 5 Stockholm C for women at Haningevallen 1. Despite only 34 people being present to witness the match, there was high intensity on the field from both teams.

It was Årsta FF that took the lead in the 23rd minute with a goal from Christina Georgiadou, who netted the ball and gave her team an early advantage. Vendelsö pressed hard but struggled to get through Årsta's defense. Although they had a few chances, they were unable to capitalize on them.

In the second half, Årsta extended their lead with two quick goals from Lova Örtenberg in the 61st minute and Derya Saleh in the 76th minute. Vendelsö continued to fight and managed to reduce the deficit with a goal from Leah Tibäck in the 65th minute, making it 1-2, but it proved to be insufficient.

At the end of the match, Årsta made a final push to secure the victory. Michelle Valgma scored in the 82nd minute, setting the final score at 1-4. Vendelsö tried to fight back, but Årsta proved to be stronger on the day.

Referee Adam Güclü kept his cool and officiated the match professionally. Although the crowd was small, it was an exciting match to watch. Årsta FF clearly won fairly after a strong performance and can now look forward to their next match. Vendelsö IK will continue to fight to take all three points in their next game.
