On Wednesday evening, an exciting Division 5 match took place at Östermalms IP 1 between the home team Ljungbackens IF and visiting Högalids IF. The attendance was relatively low with only 25 people present, but those spectators were in for a surprising turnaround from the home team.
The match started with high intensity, and both teams showcased strong attacking play. Högalids IF received a yellow card in the 21st minute after Jacob Stenblom had brutally brought down one of Ljungbacken's players. A similar scenario occurred in the 35th minute, but this time Ljungbackens IF received a warning after Sebastian Cardonius acted recklessly.
In the 60th minute, Högalids IF had a chance to take the lead after being awarded a penalty. This opportunity was efficiently converted by an unknown player from Högalids IF, who shot the ball into the net and scored the first goal of the match.

Referee Mohamad Musse officiated the match with assistance from Ulf Arkfelt and Karl Svensson, and despite some intense situations, they did a good job. After the match, Ljungbackens IF was able to celebrate their first victory against Högalids IF in a long time.
