It was Sunday evening at Östermalm IP 1, and the teams Handelskamraternas IS and Essinge IK were ready to compete in Division 5 Stockholm Mellersta for men. With only 20 people in the stands, including referee Klas Nieckels and assistant referees Jakub Isse and Tony Lin, the match kicked off.

Essinge IK started the match with a quick attack that resulted in a goal just four minutes in. Karl Dahlgren Wargelius was the scorer, making it 0-1. Essinge IK continued to dominate the match, and after twelve minutes, Lucas Larsson increased the lead to 0-2. Three minutes later, it was Lennaert Stuurs' turn to find the net, and Essinge IK was now leading 0-3.

However, Handelskamraternas IS did not give up, fighting hard, and after 45 minutes, they managed to reduce the score to 1-3. Before the second half, Essinge IK still had the upper hand, and just two minutes into the second half, Karl Dahlgren Wargelius scored his second goal, increasing the lead to 1-4.

Both Handelskamraternas IS and Essinge IK received warnings during the match, and Essinge IK’s Lennaert Stuur received a yellow card after 20 minutes.

The teams continued to battle, with Essinge IK being the strongest on the field. After 67 minutes, Lennaert Stuur increased the lead to 1-5. Handelskamraternas IS refused to give up and after 82 minutes, Robin Waldholm succeeded in reducing the score to 2-5.

The match then became dramatic, and with only two minutes left of regular time, Joakim Karlsson scored HIs second goal, bringing the score to 3-5. Unfortunately, there would be no points for HIs, as Navab Hamidi scored the final goal of the match in stoppage time, resulting in a 3-6 victory for Essinge IK.
