Essinge IK secured an important away victory against IFK Bergshamra at Bergshamra IP 1 in Division 5 Stockholm Mellersta for men on Wednesday evening. The match ended 3-2 after a dramatic second half.

It was Abbe Hansson who scored the first goal for Essinge IK in the tenth minute after a nice pass from Navab Hamidi. IFK Bergshamra quickly responded by equalizing through Eddie Agegnehu Kyrk two minutes later. A goal that really raised the temperature on the pitch.

IFK Bergshamra continued to apply pressure and took the lead after 25 minutes with a goal from Jean Marcel Cherif Evensen. Essinge IK pressed for an equalizer and got their chance when Pierrick Mihindou Hindet was shown a yellow card in the 43rd minute.

The second half was nothing short of dramatic. Navab Hamidi made it 2-2 eight minutes after the break. IFK Bergshamra's Xavier Aparicio Llobera received a yellow card in the 65th minute, and it didn't take long before Essinge IK capitalized on this. Jackson Abboud scored 3-2 two minutes later after a fine pass from Abbe Hansson.

IFK Bergshamra pressed hard for an equalizer, but it was not to be their night. Hernan Reyes was shown a yellow card in the 86th minute, and Xavier Aparicio Llobera received his second yellow and was sent off in the 92nd minute. Abdikadir Ahmed was cautioned in the sixth minute of stoppage time, but it was not enough to find an equalizer.

With this, Essinge IK took an important victory on the road and continues to fight at the top of the table. The attendance was 45, and the referee Enes Köylüoglu was assisted by Edvard Lönn and Antoni Kakarnakis Pagonis.
