Bromstens IK secured a much-needed victory in Division 5 Stockholm Norra after defeating IFK Lidingö BK 2-0 on Sunday evening. The match was played at Breviks IP 2 in front of a small crowd of just 24 spectators.

Bromstens IK started strong with an early goal, as Jonathan Herrgård found the back of the net just nine minutes into the game. IFK Lidingö BK tried to fight their way back into the match but struggled to create any really dangerous chances.

Instead, it was Bromstens IK who extended their lead after 22 minutes when Erik Ståhlgren placed the ball into the goal, making it 2-0 for the visitors.

During the first half, Björn Dellenkvist from the home team received a yellow card after a tough tackle. Timothy Payne from Bromstens IK was later sent off in the 42nd minute.

The second half turned into a tough battle between the teams, with Alexander Svanberg, Victor Hägglund, and Gabriel Soudah from IFK Lidingö BK all receiving yellow cards during the match.

Erik Karlsson from IFK Lidingö BK was also sent off in the 72nd minute, making it even more difficult for the home team to get back into the match.

Pontus Skoglund received a yellow card in the 86th minute, but it was too late for IFK Lidingö BK to make any impact on the result, and the match ended 2-0 in favor of Bromstens IK.
