It was an exciting match between Roslagsbro IF and Riala GoIF at Vårlyckan artificial grass, where over 100 fans were present to see the ladies compete in Division 5 Uppland Östra. The referee, Ahmad Abdulfatah, was fully focused during the match and blew the whistle for kick-off at 1:00 PM on Saturday afternoon.
After an intense first half, it was Roslagsbro IF who took the lead after 22 minutes when Leia Gustafsson skillfully scored to make it 1-0. Riala GoIF fought to come back and received a warning after 33 minutes when Therese Rizzo faced tough opposition.
After a tightly contested match, Riala GoIF managed to score with just one minute left in the first half, equalizing to 1-1 through Therese Rizzo, who scored a fantastic goal.
The second half was nothing short of dramatic as Riala GoIF continued to fight hard and scored again after 55 minutes, once again through Therese Rizzo. Roslagsbro IF did not give up despite the pressure from Riala GoIF, but they were unable to find the back of the net again.
A couple of cautions were issued during the match, and the second yellow card went to Roslagsbro IF’s Sofi Winge after 69 minutes. The final result was 1-2 in favor of Riala GoIF, who take home an important victory after a tough battle on Vårlyckan artificial grass.
