The match started with a frantic opening as Rö IK took the lead just four minutes in through Karl Pettersson. Aldo Arce Espinola then extended the lead to 0-2 just five minutes later, before Pettersson struck again to make it 0-3.

Syrianska FF fought their way back into the game when Issa Doham reduced the score to 1-3 after 23 minutes, but Rö IK responded immediately with another goal from Karl Pettersson, going into halftime with a 1-4 lead.

Andreas Ahosson gave Syrianska FF hope when he managed to make it 2-5 with a fine free kick, but Rö IK continued to dominate, and Pettersson completed his hat-trick, making it 2-6.

The match then got out of hand with several warnings given to both sides before Karl Pettersson capped off his impressive evening with his fourth goal, setting the final score at 2-7 in favor of Rö IK.
