An exciting match between IK Apollon and Rö IK took place at Johannesbäckskolan's artificial turf on Saturday afternoon. In front of an audience of only 18 people, a couple of emotional incidents were witnessed on the field.
The match started evenly, with chances for both teams, but it was Rö IK who took the lead in the 57th minute. Karl Pettersson became the goalscorer and gave the visitors a quick advantage.
IK Apollon continued to attack, and in the 76th minute, Rustam Gauhari managed to find the net and equalized for the home team. The atmosphere in the stands became jubilant when Konstantinos Eleftheriadis then sent in a fantastic goal in the 78th minute, giving IK Apollon a lead of 2-1.
However, IK Apollon received a red card for Musie Beraki in the 83rd minute, leading to an intense final part of the match. Rö IK desperately tried to equalize, but IK Apollon's defense held strong, and the match ended 2-1 in favor of the home team.
After the match, there was great jubilation on the field among IK Apollon's players and fans, while Rö IK stood disappointed on the field. Referee Ahmad Al-Shawi and his assistant referees Abdulkadir Abdulle and Faramarz Nabizade did an excellent job on the field, keeping a lot of dissent in check to ensure the match had a safe and fair outcome.
