An exciting match was played on Saturday afternoon at Enavallen A-plan between Enköpings IS and Riala GoIF in the Division 5 Uppland Södra series. The two teams entered the game with full focus, and despite the small attendance of only 49 people, entertaining football was presented.
The match started evenly, with both teams testing each other's defense through several scoring opportunities. However, it was Enköpings IS who ultimately took the lead in the 38th minute when Joakim Reutfors scored, putting his team ahead 1-0.
In the second half, the play continued at the same high tempo, and Riala GoIF fought to find an equalizer. But instead of getting back into the match, the team picked up two yellow cards, the first to Fredrik Hellström and the second to Tony Joacim Forsström Skeppar of Enköpings IS.
In the 73rd minute, Riala GoIF finally managed to score, with Martin Larsson equalizing the match at 1-1. It looked like the match would end in a draw, but Riala GoIF's previously cautioned player Fredrik Hellström received another yellow card and was consequently sent off in the 80th minute.
This was a major loss for Riala GoIF, and Enköpings IS saw the opportunity to take the lead again. In the 87th minute, Patrik Klaman took his chance and scored, putting Enköpings IS ahead 2-1, which is where the match ended.
It was a truly exciting, dramatic football match where Enköpings IS ultimately emerged victorious. Referee Jakob Wahlgren officiated the match excellently, along with his assistant referees Salem Hajbakri and Mehmet Iltüzer.
