The match between Rinns AIK and Kils AIK at Rinnevi Arena started intensely, and after just eight minutes, the home team took the lead through an own goal by Kils AIK. Kils AIK responded with a yellow card for Danny Gilbert in the eighth minute.

However, in the 90th minute, Rinns AIK managed to take the lead again through Sonny Över and were able to hold it until the final whistle. They had to do so without Kevin Nordahl, who was sent off in the closing stages of the match.
