It was an intense start to the match between IF Örnen and Rinns AIK at Örnvallen. After just five minutes of play, IF Örnen scored the first goal through Karl Bryntesson, giving the home team an early lead of 1-0. Rinns AIK fought to get back into the game, but it was IF Örnen who broke through again and extended their lead to 2-0 after 17 minutes of play with a goal from André Bergman.

However, Rinns AIK responded quickly and managed to reduce the deficit to 2-1 after Elias Björklund scored in the 24th minute. This was a much-needed boost for the away team, who began to play with more confidence and created several dangerous chances.

The second half was more even, with both teams battling to extend their lead. IF Örnen opted to make two substitutions, bringing on Joakim Sundgren and David Henriksson, which infused new energy into the team. Rinns AIK desperately tried to equalize, but IF Örnen's defense held strong.
