It was a sunny Sunday afternoon at Ekebyvallen when Rottneros IK faced Rinns AIK in Division 5 Värmland Västra. In front of 132 spectators, the home team took control from the start, and it only took three minutes before the first goal was in the net, scored by Gustav Andersson.
Rottneros continued to press and would triple their lead before the halftime break. First through Daniel Nyback Melin in the eighth minute, followed by Gustav Andersson who showed the way with two quick goals before the break.
In the second half, Rottneros continued to dominate and would find the net two more times before the end of the match. First by Marcel Toorneman in the 49th minute, and then Andreas Svanberg sealed the deal by making it 6-0 in the 89th minute.
Rinns AIK also had a chance to reduce the deficit from the penalty spot in the 81st minute, but Andreas Hedström missed his attempt.
Overall, the match was an easy victory for Rottneros IK, who demonstrated good offensive strength and solid defensive play. Rinns AIK, on the other hand, will need to go back to the drawing board ahead of their upcoming matches.
