Östra Ersboda FC made a fantastic comeback, turning a 0-2 deficit into a 3-2 victory against Spöland Vännäs IF on Monday evening. The match was played at Vännäs IP Artificial Grass in front of an audience of only 23 people and was officiated by Michael Röste Moe, assisted by Malte Lövgren and Peter Molin.
The match began with a high tempo from both teams, but it was Spöland Vännäs IF that took command and took the lead after just 13 minutes through Yakoub Abdi Hussien. After that goal, the home team continued to press and eventually increased their lead in the 26th minute with a goal from Mohammad Hanif Zahidi.
However, the guests did not give up, and at the end of the first half, Abdimajid Abdullahi Farah managed to reduce the score to 2-1. After the break, Östra Ersboda FC continued to apply pressure, and Farah became the match’s hero once again with his second goal in the 61st minute, equalizing the score to 2-2.
The match continued at a high pace but without more goals until the 87th minute when Farah received a yellow card for a tough tackle. In the 89th minute, it was Spöland Vännäs IF’s turn to receive a yellow card, with Hasan Reza Mohammad Shah being cautioned. The match appeared to be heading for a draw, but in the 90th minute, Östra Ersboda FC managed to take the lead through Abdiasis Ahmed Dirie, clinching the victory with a score of 3-2.
The match was intense and exciting throughout the ninety minutes, featuring a hard-fought battle between the two teams. Östra Ersboda FC ultimately won thanks to their fantastic attitude and strong desire to win, as well as their ability to take advantage of their chances better than the home team.
