The Kinnevallen A-plan was full on Thursday afternoon when Kinne-Vedums IF hosted Mölltorp-Breviks AIF in Division 5 Västergötland Östra. With an attendance of 83 people, the atmosphere was lively and expectations were high ahead of the match.
Referee Olle Lundberg and his assistants Thomas Lenk and Daniel Larm kicked off the match at 1:00 PM, and just 13 minutes into the game, the referee showed the first yellow card to Kinne-Vedums IF’s Oscar Johansson.
After 28 minutes of play, it was Kinne-Vedums IF who took the lead through Peter Dahlin, who put the ball in the net. However, Mölltorp-Breviks AIF were not content to be behind and managed to equalize just before halftime through Nils Fredriksson.

With just a few minutes left in the match, Olle Lundberg showed yet another yellow card, this time to Mölltorp-Breviks AIF’s Alexander Dögl.
The match seemed set to end in a draw, but in the 89th minute, Kinne-Vedums IF was awarded a penalty after a handball by a defender from Mölltorp-Breviks AIF. Peter Dahlin showcased his skill once again and successfully converted the penalty, allowing Kinne-Vedums IF to claim victory with a score of 2-1.
After the final whistle, Kinne-Vedums IF fans could sing and celebrate their victory, while Mölltorp-Breviks AIF fans had to head home with their heads held high despite a hard-fought battle on the pitch.
