Valtorps IF won a well-played Division 5 match against IF Tymer on Thursday evening at home on the Brovalla A-field. Simon Odh and Jay Patel scored the goals in a match that Valtorps IF dominated from start to finish.

Valtorps IF took control early in the first half and dictated the game. After 32 minutes, the breakthrough came. Midfielder Simon Odh volleyed the ball into the far corner after a nice pass from Dennis Ivar - making it 1-0 to Valtorps IF.

After the break, Valtorps IF continued to press forward, and when IF Tymer tried to move the game forward, the home team found space for counterattacks. However, it wasn't until the 74th minute that Valtorps IF could seal the game. Jay Patel placed a well-taken penalty into the far top corner after one of the Tymer players brought down a home player in the penalty area.

After this, IF Tymer tried to muster up strength for a comeback, but Valtorps IF was solid defensively and held firm. IF Tymer managed to pull one back in injury time with a nice free kick from Johan Sundelius, but it was too late to threaten Valtorps IF, who won 2-0.
