With only 75 spectators present at Idrottsparken in Ekedalen, the match between the home team Ekedalens SK and the away team Mariestads BK kicked off. Referee Melvin Brattlöf started the match at 7:00 PM on Monday evening, and it quickly turned out to be a one-sided affair.
Right from the eighth minute, the home team got a dream start when number 4, Carl Hallin, scored to make it 1-0, much to the delight of the crowd. Mariestads BK tried to find their way back into the match, but the home team, Ekedalens SK, continued to dominate, and in the sixteenth minute, number 15, Samuel Dahlström, doubled the lead to 2-0.
The second half began with a warning against Mariestads BK's number 10, Oskar Stenberg, but it did not improve the team's performance on the field. In the 49th minute, number 21, Henrik Häll, scored Ekedalens SK's third goal, and it was clear that the match was firmly in the home team's hands.
In the 74th minute, number 17, Peter Eng, increased the lead to 4-0, and Mariestads BK hung their heads in disappointment. Moreover, the away team received a red card for number 5, Daniel Tordby, in the 84th minute, making it even harder for them to try to turn the match in their favor.
