Fritsla IF impressed as they faced Länghems IF in a hard-fought battle at Ingsvallen A-plan. On the cold Thursday evening, it was the home team that had the ball most, but it was Fritsla IF that managed to score the goals.
Already in the third minute, Fritsla earned a penalty, which Lukas Gunnarsson confidently converted to give the away team a 1-0 lead. It didn't take long before Tobias Johansson doubled the lead to 2-0 in the 16th minute, and then he scored his second goal of the evening six minutes later, giving Fritsla a comfortable lead of 3-0.
Länghems IF did not give up and were awarded a penalty in the 24th minute, which Emil Höök converted to reduce the score to 1-3. But Fritsla did not allow Länghems to catch up and made sure to prevent any play within their own box. Instead, Fritsla continued to press, and just before halftime, Lukas Gunnarsson scored his second goal of the evening, making it Fritsla's fourth. The score was 4-1 in favor of Fritsla when the teams went to halftime.
The second half was less intense, but Länghems continued to chase and attempted to get back into the match. Johan Enoksson received a yellow card for Länghems in the 71st minute, while Axel Lindelöf was booked for Fritsla in the 86th minute. Simon Leppämäki scored Fritsla's fifth goal in the 87th minute, making it 5-1.
William Lövgren scored a nice goal for Länghems with a shot that skimmed off the crossbar and into the net in the 88th minute, but it was too late to prevent Fritsla's victory with a final score of 5-2. Fritsla had dominated with effective passing and quick combinations, which proved decisive in securing a solid win.
