Valskogs IK had a dominant start to the match against Skultuna IS, taking the lead just two minutes into the game at Centralvallen. It was Felix Puustinen who found the net after a nice combination with his teammates.
Skultuna IS tried to recover from this early setback, but Valskogs IK continued to dominate the match. After fourteen minutes, Felix Puustinen increased his goal tally by scoring for the second time in the match. Valskogs IK was now in full control, and just five minutes later, they extended their lead to 3-0 through Emil Millberg.
After the break, Skultuna IS became more involved in the match, and it took them until the 75th minute to score their first goal when Mahdi Ehsani found the net. A couple of minutes later, he scored his second goal of the evening, reducing the deficit to 3-2.
Skultuna IS pushed hard to equalize, but Valskogs IK held firm, and at the end of the match, Filip Springfeldt scored the decisive goal that secured Valskogs IK’s victory with a score of 4-2.
With this result, Valskogs IK maintains its first place in Division 5 Västmanland, men, and continues to demonstrate that they are a team to be reckoned with this year. Skultuna IS needs to keep working hard to improve their form if they want to bring home more points from their matches.
