It was a sunny Sunday afternoon at Mälarenergi Arena when Surahammar FK met Hallstahammars SK FK in a Division 5 match. Referee Sohrab Hassanini blew the whistle to start the game, and both teams showed high intensity right from the outset.
It was, however, Hallstahammars SK that took the lead in the 20th minute when Dino Hasanefendic headed the ball in after a fine cross. Just five minutes later, Hasanefendic scored his second goal of the day, once again finding the ball after a corner and sending it into the net, giving the away team an early 0-2 lead.
Surahammar tried to respond and get back into the match, but they struggled to create any real threats going forward. Instead, it was Albehar Dedinca who extended Hallstahammars SK's lead with his goal in the 50th minute, as he sent the ball into the goal after a fine run.
It then took only five minutes before Surahammar FC managed to find the net themselves, reducing the deficit through Knut Christian Berg. But it was unfortunately too late, and despite some dangerous attacks from Surahammar, they could not catch up. Instead, it was Crinovik Mbuyamba who sealed the final score at 1-4 after capitalizing on a defensive error and scoring Hallstahammars' sixth goal of the day.
It was an impressive performance from the away team Hallstahammars SK, making it a dominant victory on the road. Surahammar FK, on the other hand, must now look to react and try to regain their form ahead of future matches.
