Morlanda GoIF played a fantastic match against Munkedals IF today, which ended with an impressive 8-0 victory at home on Glimmaråsen Ellös. The match started strongly for Morlanda, with a goal from Albin Olofsson in the very first minute. Just eight minutes later, Rickard Schöndell increased the lead to 2-0, and Rasmus Larsson then extended the lead to 3-0 after just eleven minutes.
Morlanda was unstoppable on the field today, further increasing the score with two new goals from Albin Olofsson and Lucas Thijssen, bringing the score to 5-0 after just 28 minutes. The second half began just as strongly, with a goal from Adam Woldenius just three minutes in.
Munkedals IF received a warning after an hour of play when Daniel Bryngelsson committed an illegal tackle, but this was the only moment that made the audience raise their eyebrows at the otherwise dominant Morlanda team. Morlanda’s truly brilliant performance in this match was capped off with two wonderful goals from Rickard Schöndell and Axel Olofsson in the 67th and 77th minutes, respectively.
