It was a chilly Thursday evening at Färnäs IP when Färnäs SK faced Korsnäs IF FK U2 in Division 6 Dalarna North. Unfortunately, the match did not attract any spectators to the arena.
The match started with a high pace from both teams, and it didn't take long before the guests from Korsnäs took the lead through a goal scorer after twelve minutes. However, Färnäs SK continued to fight, and nine minutes later they were rewarded when Joakim Sjöblom precisely shot in the equalizer.
But Korsnäs IF FK U2 was not discouraged by this and only two minutes later, William Almqvist scored to make it 1-2 after a nice play transition.
Färnäs SK continued to battle for an equalizer, but Korsnäs IF FK U2 defended well and was quick in counter-attacks. In the 41st minute, the guests sealed the match when Arvid Almqvist skillfully placed the ball in the net, making the score 1-3.
Färnäs SK tried until the end to score another goal, but Korsnäs IF FK U2 held firm and could ultimately leave the field as winners with a 1-3 scoreline.
The referee, Ismail Atak, kept good control of the match, and his assistants, Alvin Erikhans and William Lindström, did an excellent job on the lines.
Korsnäs IF FK U2 can now take three points home, while Färnäs SK will need to continue working to achieve success in the rest of the season.
