It was an exciting match between IF Vulcanus and Gustafs GoIF at Blötbergets IP today. Both teams displayed fantastic football, but it was IF Vulcanus that came out stronger at the start of the match. Already after 15 minutes, Saymon Nebiy Kebedom scored a lovely goal, putting the team ahead 1-0 over Gustafs GoIF. They continued to dominate, and in the 21st minute, Liam Pettersson Huikko struck again, netting another goal, making it 2-0 to IF Vulcanus.
However, Gustafs GoIF did not give up easily and managed to reduce the deficit through William Roman in the 29th minute, bringing it to 2-1 for IF Vulcanus. The second half began with Gustafs GoIF pushing hard on IF Vulcanus. Eventually, their efforts paid off when Oskar Granström equalized in the 65th minute, making it 2-2.
IF Vulcanus lost focus, and Gustafs GoIF fully capitalized on it. Oskar Nilsson scored a third goal in the 74th minute, giving Gustafs GoIF a lead of 2-3. But IF Vulcanus did not give up and put everything into a final push. And it paid off! Christoffer Johansson managed to score a goal in the 84th minute, and the match ended in a thrilling 3-3 draw.
The match was well officiated by the refereeing team consisting of Peter Johansson as the main referee, and Per-Olof Messing and Lawand Said as assistant referees. The audience at Blötbergets IP witnessed an entertaining match, but unfortunately, neither team was able to secure a victory.
