It was a sunny Sunday afternoon at Blötbergets IP when IF Vulcanus took on Nyhammars IF U in an exciting match in Division 6 Dalarna Södra. The audience numbered 65 people and the referee for the day was Björn Andersson, assisted by Elias Nyyssönen and Ida Granberg.
The match started with a high tempo and already after 7 minutes IF Vulcanus took the lead through Liam Pettersson Huikko, who also drew a warning just two minutes later. Vulcanus continued to press and Pettersson Huikko extended the lead to 2-0 after 17 minutes on penalty.
Nyhammars IF U regained the momentum and reduced the deficit through Gert-Owe Andersen in the 23rd minute. But Vulcanus responded immediately when Pettersson Huikko completed his hat trick in the 24th minute. Before half time Marcus Jakobsson and Gert-Owe Andersen had equalized for Nyhammars IF U to 3-3.
In the second half it was a completely different game, where Nyhammars IF U dominated. Gert-Owe Andersen missed a penalty in the 49th minute, but equalized to 3-4 in the 58th minute. Then followed goals on goals for the away team, where Magnus Andersson, Jens Friberg and three more goals from Gert-Owe Andersen set the final score to 3-10 for Nyhammars IF U.
After the match, Nyhammars IF U placed fifth in the table, while IF Vulcanus had to settle for a loss and a seventh place. An impressive turnaround by Nyhammars IF U, who dominated the second half and secured a convincing victory.
