Kareby IS, however, did not give up and equalized again just three minutes later through Hugo Backman, making the score 2-2. The second half continued equally intensely, and in the 58th minute, Kareby IS retook the lead through Backman, who scored his second goal of the evening.
The match continued with several tough duels, and the referee Edmond Shala issued a few yellow cards. Among those cautioned was Wilmer Ejderfalk from Kareby IS in the 65th minute.
Despite attempts from both teams to score more goals, they could not change the outcome, and the match ended with a victory for Kareby IS, 3-2. A very even and thrilling match that kept the spectators on their toes, even though there were none present.
