It was a sunny Sunday afternoon at Heden 2 Artificial Turf when Chalmers Studentkårs IS faced Pushers BK in an exciting match in Division 6 Göteborg C. Despite the stands being empty, the teams provided an entertaining football match.
Pushers BK took command from the start, and already in the fourth minute, Alessandro Bartoli managed to find the net, giving his team a 1-0 lead. Pushers continued to press, and Joel Otterloo Kuronen doubled the lead to 2-0 in the 18th minute. Martin Nordfeldt headed in a third goal just before halftime, making it look like Chalmers had a tough match ahead of them.
However, Chalmers did not give up, and Gustav Åsenhielm reduced the deficit to 1-3 just before the break. In the second half, Chalmers came back again, with Patrick Schwab scoring to bring it to 2-3 in the 50th minute. Unfortunately, that was all they could manage that day.
In the 68th minute, Leo Holst extended the lead to 4-2 for Pushers, and shortly after, Chalmers were reduced to ten men when Alexander Helldal received his second yellow card and was sent off. Alessandro Bartoli then converted a penalty to complete his hat trick before scoring the final goal at 6-2 in the 79th minute.
Chalmers tried to fight back but couldn't overcome a strong Pushers BK that day. The match ended with a 6-2 victory for the visiting team. A heavy defeat for Chalmers Studentkårs IS, who now have to regroup for their next match.
