It was a lovely Thursday evening when the Division 6 teams Sjövalla FK and FC Heden met at Djupedalsplan B. Despite the fact that spectators were not allowed due to the prevailing circumstances, the match provided excitement and plenty of goals.
In the tenth minute, the zero on the scoreboard was broken when Sjövalla FK took the lead after a fine through ball from Oscar Sköldberg, who coolly placed the ball behind FC Heden's goalkeeper. However, FC Heden responded quickly, equalizing in the 22nd minute through Kevin Karlsson.
But Sjövalla FK did not back down and just two minutes later, it was once again Oscar Sköldberg who found the net after a well-executed corner routine. Daniel Kappelins's beautiful header in the 36th minute extended the lead to 3-1.
In the second half, FC Heden fought back and reduced the deficit to 3-2 after a fine penetration by Kim Nordström in the 70th minute. The match then completely turned when Olof Samsagård scored in the 77th minute after a perfect assist from Kevin Karlsson.
Now it was even and intense on the field, and in the 84th minute, the referee pulled out the yellow card for Milad Razzaghi from FC Heden. After protests from Razzaghi, a second yellow card followed, and he subsequently received a red card, which meant FC Heden was now playing with one player less.
In the 85th minute, Sjövalla FK was awarded a free kick in the midfield, which Oskar Lundqvist Sternvik took charge of. With a nice arc over FC Heden's defense, the ball landed in the penalty area where a Sjövalla player got his head on it and scored. 4-3 to Sjövalla!
The match was now in its final phase, and FC Heden fought for an equalizer, but no more goals were scored, and the referee blew the whistle to end the match. It was a game that offered everything, with beautiful goals and intense moments on the field. Sjövalla FK takes home three important points and can look forward to the next match with new hopes.
