Monday evening featured an exciting match in Division 6 Halland Södra as Hasslövs IS hosted BK Walldia at home. With only 50 people in the stands, the atmosphere was somewhat subdued before the match began.
The match started evenly, but it was BK Walldia that struck first. After 14 minutes, Zett Wyke found himself in an open position in front of goal and took the opportunity to put the ball in the net, giving the away team a 1-0 lead. However, Hasslövs IS did not let this discourage them and continued to fight. After 21 minutes, the equalizer came when Albin Hansson put the ball behind BK Walldia's goalkeeper.
Hasslövs IS continued to push forward and was rewarded when Filip Hultin scored after a nice pass in front of the goal. The score was now 2-1 to the home team when referee Fatmir Kyqyku blew for halftime.
The second half began with both teams focusing on scoring. Hasslövs IS played aggressively and received two yellow cards, the first to Emil Palmgren and the second to Per-Philip Nilsson. BK Walldia also received a yellow card, which went to Ahmed Hassan Osman.
Hasslövs IS continued to apply pressure and after 69 minutes, Dylan Ledborn scored the third goal for Hasslövs IS. The score was now 3-1, and the home team seemed to have complete control of the match. After 78 minutes, BK Walldia's Erik Jönsson received a red card, leaving the away team a man down on the field. In the final minutes of the match, both Hasslövs IS and BK Walldia received one warning each, going to Jonathan Landgren and Antonio Saitovski respectively.
When the referee blew the final whistle, the home team celebrated while the away team returned to the dressing room disappointed with the loss. Hasslövs IS had won the match 3-1 and thereby managed to improve their position in the standings slightly.
