It was a sunny Sunday afternoon at Duvedhallen's artificial turf when Åre Slalomklubb hosted Svegs IK 2 in Division 6 Jämtland-Härjedalen South. The home team, Åre Slalomklubb, who led the table, did not disappoint as they set the tone early in the match.
Just two minutes in, Olof Halvarsson opened the scoring for the home side with a fine finish. Shortly thereafter, Auguste Grand doubled the lead to 2-0 before Hugo Hansson made it 3-0 after twelve minutes of play.
Svegs IK 2 struggled to withstand the pressing home team, and it wasn’t long before Omid Hosseini made it 4-0. Despite several cautions being issued to both teams, Åre Slalomklubb continued to dominate the match. Erik Westerberg, Emil Holmgren, and Leon Strand increased the lead to 7-0 before Westerberg and Holmgren each scored again, finalizing the score at 9-0 in favor of Åre Slalomklubb.
Referee Marcus Noterius blew the whistle to conclude the match, and the home team could celebrate yet another convincing victory, while Svegs IK 2 returned home with a tough loss in their luggage.
